Better for Etta Kindness Campaign Day 1

Today we were kind to ourselves. After all- you can’t pour from an empty cup. I’ve spent all day crying but so overwhelmed by other people’s love and kindness for us. And not just today- but every day since Etta’s diagnosis.

So today’s act of kindness is from you. Thank you.

Thank you to those who have donated money in Etta’s name.

Thank you for those who have done random acts of kindness.

Thank you for those who have sent messages to check in.

Thank you for those who bought thoughtful gifts for Etta.

Thank you for those who brought round meals and care packages for us.

Thanks to those who wrote and sent beautiful cards.

Thank you to those who toasted Etta or ate some birthday cake in her honour.

Thank you for showing us how loved Etta is.

Today has only confirmed what we already knew. Etta- ‘If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.’ 💖🌻🥰

Thank you to my friends who visited Leckhampton Hill (where Etta’s ashes were scattered) because lockdown stopped us from doing so.
Etta’s Pampy and Nette scattering petals in the ocean on the other side of the world.
Beautiful pictures, biscuits, fizz and flowers from our loved ones.
Beautiful cards with au thoughtful messages. They all made me cry but meant a lot.
Etta’s birthday cake today! We also set off heart- shaped Chinese lanterns and looked through photographs and her memory box.
