Thank you for visiting this blog. I’m hoping this will give you a little insight into Etta’s little life, our thoughts and feelings now that she’s gone, as well as details about some fundraising events to raise money for the charities we support in her memory.
Little Hearts Matter
From initial antenatal diagnosis, through treatments and into life at home, the charity works with children, young adults and families to reduce the isolation, fear and lack of understanding created when a child is diagnosed as having half a working heart.
British Heart Foundation
The BHF offer lots of information and support for a wide range of heart and circulatory diseases, including congenital heart defects. Their free guides explain different defects in a really clear way.
The Grand Appeal
The Bristol Children’s Hospitals charity provides care, support and life-saving equipment to families in Bristol Children’s Hospital and for the NICU unit at St. Michael’s Hospital through their sister charity ‘Cots for Tots Appeal’.
